Ingredients:

  • 4 large Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples (approx. 1.2 lbs / 540g)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut

Instructions:

  1. Core the apples and slice them into thin wedges. Immediately toss the slices in a bowl with the lemon juice, ensuring every piece is coated. Arrange the slices in a scattered, overlapping pattern on your platter to create a stable foundation.
  2. Combine the peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-second bursts, stirring in between, until the mixture reaches a runny, pourable consistency.
  3. Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle the warm nut butter or caramel in a zigzag motion across the entire platter. While the drizzle is still tacky, immediately sprinkle the granola, chocolate chips, and coconut over the top so they adhere to the sauce.
