Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan of boiling salted water, add green beans. Blanch for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and transfer to ice water.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the blanched green beans to a baking dish and evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the green beans.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
