Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan of boiling salted water, add green beans. Blanch for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and transfer to ice water.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the blanched green beans to a baking dish and evenly sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the green beans.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
