Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in melted butter until fully incorporated.
  4. Add egg, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar; mix until smooth.
  5. Sprinkle in baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; stir gently.
  6. Gradually fold in all-purpose flour until just combined.
  7. Optional: Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
