  • 1/2 cup (75g) chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (75g) dried fruit (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Bread Pan: Grease the loaf pan with oil or line it with parchment paper.
  3. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine oats, whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together molasses, warm water, vegetable oil, and brown sugar until smooth.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in any optional add-ins.
  6. Transfer to Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake: Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
