- 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour

- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup (240ml) whole milk, at room temperature
- 3 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour the cake pans or line with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk; mix until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
