  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder (8g)
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder (8g)
  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice (5g)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) (2g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (5g)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (2g)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional) (12g)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add smoked paprika, ground cumin, dried thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, ground allspice, cayenne (if using), salt, and black pepper.
  2. Use a whisk or fork to thoroughly combine all the spices until uniform in color and texture.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired, adding more cayenne for heat or brown sugar for sweetness.
  4. Transfer the spice blend to an airtight container and label it; store in a cool, dark place.
