Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Mature Cheddar Cheese, finely shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C/Gas Mark 5). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well.
  3. Very lightly brush baking sheet.
  4. Spoon heaping tablespoonfuls of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each pile. Gently flatten each pile slightly with the back of a spoon.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, golden brown, and bubbly around the edges.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes to firm up.
  7. Carefully transfer the baked cheese crisps to a serving plate and serve immediately.
