Ingredients:
- 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon (4g) salt
- 1 teaspoon (5g) instant dry yeast
- ¾ cup (180ml) warm water (about 100°F/38°C)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- 1 cup (100g) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup (50g) pepperoni, diced
- ¼ cup (60g) pizza sauce (plus more for dipping)
- 2 tablespoons (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon (5g) dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon (5g) Italian seasoning
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast. Add warm water and olive oil; mix to form a dough. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine mozzarella, pepperoni, pizza sauce, Parmesan, oregano, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick. Cut into squares (about 3x3 inches); place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch edges to seal.
- Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking tray. Brush with olive oil or melted butter if desired. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with additional pizza sauce for dipping.
