Ingredients:
- 1 large French bread loaf (approximately 450g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
- 1 cup pizza sauce (240g)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (200g)
- ½ cup sliced pepperoni (about 70g)
- ½ cup sliced bell peppers (about 75g)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (5g)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5g)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Using a sharp knife, slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Arrange the bread cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil evenly over the cut sides of the bread and rub it in.
- Spoon the pizza sauce generously onto each half of the bread.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce. Layer on pepperoni, bell peppers, and any other desired toppings. Sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
