Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados (about 300g)
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup (or agave syrup)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup (60ml) almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
- Dark chocolate shavings (optional)
- Sliced fresh fruit (like strawberries or bananas)
Instructions:
- Cut avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
- Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, sea salt, and almond milk to the blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup, if desired.
- Transfer the avocado chocolate mixture into serving cups or a bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, garnish with mint leaves, dark chocolate shavings, and sliced fruit before serving.
