Ingredients:
- 12 large fresh strawberries (about 1 pound/450g)
- 8 ounces (227g) semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) coconut oil (optional, for smoother texture)
Instructions:
- Wash and thoroughly dry strawberries with paper towels. Remove the green stems if desired.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate and allow excess to drip off.
- Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
- Once chocolate is firm, lift strawberries off the parchment and arrange on a serving platter.
