- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup fresh Sampaguita flowers (ensure they are pesticide-free)
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until steaming, but do not boil.
- Remove from heat and add fresh Sampaguita flowers. Let steep for 30 minutes.
- After steeping, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a mixing bowl to remove the flowers.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Cover the mixture and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until completely cold.
- Pour the chilled mixture into the ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturers instructions (generally about 20-25 minutes).
