- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups milk (whole or 2%)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional for sweet crepes)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Fresh fruits (like strawberries or bananas)
- Nutella or chocolate spread
- Lemon juice and powdered sugar for serving
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and eggs. Gradually add milk, whisking to combine until smooth.
- Stir in melted butter, sugar (if using), and salt.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
- Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the skillet, quickly swirling to coat the skillet evenly.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until edges lift and bottom is lightly golden. Flip and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Repeat with remaining batter, stacking crepes on a plate.
- Fill or top crepes with your desired ingredients. Enjoy with a sprinkle of sugar or a drizzle of syrup.
