Ingredients:
- Two (2) large 6-oz boxes Flavored Gelatin Powder (340 g total)
- 1 ½ cups (355 ml) Boiling Water
- 1 ½ cups (355 ml) Cold Water
Instructions:
- Prepare the Pan: Lightly spray the entire surface of the 9x13-inch pan with non-stick spray, or wipe with a thin layer of neutral oil. This is crucial for easy unmolding later.
- Boil Water: Bring the specified amount of water (1 ½ cups) to a full, rolling boil.
- Combine Powder: Pour the gelatin powder from both boxes into a large, heat-safe mixing bowl.
- Dissolve Gelatin: Carefully pour the boiling water over the gelatin powder. Immediately whisk vigorously for at least 2 minutes until the powder is completely dissolved. Ensure the mixture is perfectly clear and no granules remain.
- Incorporate Cold Water: Add the 1 ½ cups of cold water to the mixture. Whisk for about 30 seconds to fully incorporate and quickly bring the temperature down.
- Pour and Level: Pour the liquid gelatin mixture evenly into the prepared 9x13-inch pan.
- Complete Chill: Carefully transfer the pan to the refrigerator. Allow the gelatin to chill undisturbed for a minimum of 4 hours, but preferably 6 hours or overnight, until it is extremely firm and no longer sticky to the touch.
- Loosen Edges: Once fully set, run a thin, sharp knife around the perimeter of the pan to loosen the edges.
- Warm Water Trick: Fill a sink or larger pan with about an inch of very warm water. Carefully dip the bottom of the gelatin pan into the warm water for about 10–15 seconds to release the suction.
- Cut Shapes and Serve: Using assorted cookie cutters, press straight down firmly through the gelatin layer. Use a thin offset spatula to gently lift the cut shapes (Jello Jigglers) out of the pan and transfer them to a platter. Serve immediately, or store chilled.
