Ingredients:
- 1 oz (30 ml) rye whiskey
- 1 oz (30 ml) sweet vermouth
- 1 oz (30 ml) Bénédictine
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- Ice cubes (for shaking and serving)
- Lemon twist (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Measure and pour in the rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, and Bénédictine.
- Add the Angostura and Peychaud's bitters.
- Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice cubes.
- Use a strainer to pour the mixed cocktail over the ice in the glass.
- Twist a lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it in as a garnish.
