Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (double cream)
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) buttermilk or plain yogurt
Instructions:
- In a clean glass jar, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream.
- Add 2 tablespoons of buttermilk or plain yogurt.
- Using a whisk or fork, mix the cream and buttermilk until well combined.
- Cover the jar loosely with the lid or a clean cloth to allow air circulation.
- Let it sit at room temperature (ideally around 70°F/21°C) for 12 to 24 hours.
- After 12 hours, check if it has thickened to your liking.
- Once ready, stir gently with a rubber spatula, seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate.
- Use within 2 weeks.
