  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 1.5 lbs or 680g)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup (120ml) store-bought BBQ sauce or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional for tang)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Rub spice mixture all over the chicken thighs, ensuring even coverage. (Optional) Marinate in the fridge for up to 30 minutes.
  3. Set the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Cook for 12 minutes.

  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes; serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
