Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions:

  1. Rinse asparagus under cold water and trim the woody ends about 1-2 inches from the bottom.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add asparagus to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the oil and seasoning mix.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Place asparagus in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  7. Remove and check that asparagus is tender and slightly crispy, with a bright green color.
  8. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
