Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional: 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
- Rinse asparagus under cold water and trim the woody ends about 1-2 inches from the bottom.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Add asparagus to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the oil and seasoning mix.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Place asparagus in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove and check that asparagus is tender and slightly crispy, with a bright green color.
- If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
