- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 4 large chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on (about 1.5-2 lbs)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar.

- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket skin side up. Spray lightly with cooking spray for extra crispiness. Cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Cook longer if needed.
- Rest for 5 minutes and brush with extra barbecue sauce if desired before serving.
