Ingredients:
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (120ml) water
- 1/4 cup (30g) sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon (5g) salt
- Additional sesame seeds, for sprinkling
- Optional spices (e.g., garlic powder, paprika) to taste
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Gradually stir in water and oil until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- On a floured surface, roll out the chilled dough to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Use a knife or pizza cutter to slice the dough into sticks of desired size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the sticks on a lined baking sheet, sprinkle with sesame seeds and optional spices.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, checking after 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
