Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2-3 tablespoons (30-45 ml) chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste (about ¼ teaspoon or 1 g)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add mayonnaise and sour cream (or Greek yogurt).
  2. Stir in the finely chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.
  3. Add lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and salt to taste.
  4. Whisk or stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
  5. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning or chipotle peppers according to your preference.
  6. Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
