Ingredients:

  • 2 oz premium vodka
  • 1 oz high-quality grenadine
  • 0.5 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • 5 oz cold lemon-lime soda
  • 3 maraschino cherries
  • 1 fresh lime wheel

Instructions:

  1. Place your highball glass in the freezer for 5 minutes prior to building the drink. Once frosted, fill the glass to the brim with large, crystalline ice cubes.
  2. Pour the vodka and the fresh lime juice over the ice. Add the grenadine slowly; because of its density, it will naturally sink to the bottom.
  3. Top the glass with the lemon-lime soda. Use a long-handled bar spoon to reach the bottom and give exactly one gentle upward pull to integrate the syrup without exhausting the carbonation.
  4. Garnish with three maraschino cherries and a fresh lime wheel.
