Ingredients:
- 4 ounces Crispix or Corn Chex Cereal
- 6 ounces Pretzel Sticks or Twists
- 1 1/2 cups Dry Roasted Peanuts (unsalted)
- 1 1/2 pounds White Almond Bark or Vanilla Candy Melts
Instructions:
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats. Set aside.
- In a very large heat-safe bowl, combine the Crispix cereal, pretzels, and peanuts. Gently toss to mix the ingredients evenly.
- Place the 1 1/2 pounds of white almond bark (or candy melts) in a separate microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until the coating is completely smooth and velvety (approximately 3 to 5 minutes total).
- Pour the warm, melted coating over the dry mixture. Using a large rubber spatula, gently fold the mixture until all pieces are evenly coated. Avoid stirring vigorously, as excessive force will cause the pretzels and cereal to crumble.
- Immediately spread the coated snack mix evenly onto the prepared baking sheets in a thin layer. Allow the mix to cool and harden completely at room temperature for 30 minutes, or until set. Once firm, break the mix into smaller, manageable pieces before serving or storing.
