Ingredients:
- 1 shot (1 oz / 30 mL) freshly brewed espresso
- 4 oz (120 mL) tonic water
- 1/2 oz (15 mL) freshly squeezed lime juice
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedge or slice (optional)
- Fresh mint sprig (optional)
Instructions:
- Brew a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes to chill the drink.
- Pour tonic water over the ice.
- Add freshly squeezed lime juice to the tonic water, stirring gently.
- Slowly pour the brewed espresso over the tonic mixture to create a layered effect.
