Ingredients:

  • 1 shot (1 oz / 30 mL) freshly brewed espresso
  • 4 oz (120 mL) tonic water
  • 1/2 oz (15 mL) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedge or slice (optional)
  • Fresh mint sprig (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
  2. Fill a glass with ice cubes to chill the drink.
  3. Pour tonic water over the ice.
  4. Add freshly squeezed lime juice to the tonic water, stirring gently.
  5. Slowly pour the brewed espresso over the tonic mixture to create a layered effect.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge or mint sprig if using.
