Ingredients:
- 500g fresh red jalapeño peppers
- 3 cloves garlic
- 120ml distilled white vinegar
- 50g granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions:
- Rinse and remove stems from jalapeño peppers. Deseed them if you prefer a milder sauce.
- In a blender, combine jalapeños, garlic, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Blend until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
- Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes.
- Add water if needed to adjust consistency; simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the sauce cool. Transfer to a jar or bottle and refrigerate.
