  • 1 packet (1 ounce/28g) taco seasoning mix (low sodium recommended)
  • 1/2 cup water (120 ml)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (227 g)
  • 16 ounces sour cream (454 g)
  • 1 cup salsa (your favorite spice level) (240 ml)
  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 1/4 cup lime juice (60 ml)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (113 g)
  • 1/2 cup chopped black olives (60 g)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (30 g)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (30g)

Instructions:

  1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  4. In a separate bowl, mash avocado with lime juice.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly onto the serving platter. Top with the seasoned ground beef.
  6. Spread salsa over the beef, then spread the guacamole evenly over the salsa.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese, black olives, green onions, and cilantro over the guacamole.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (optional) to allow flavors to meld. Serve with tortilla chips.
