Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (12g)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (5g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1g)
  • 1 cup whole milk (240ml)
  • 1 large egg (50g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
  • Vegetable oil for frying (enough to fill a deep pan)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Whisk in milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.
  4. Dip each Oreo into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  5. Carefully lower the battered Oreos into the hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pan.
  6. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Use a slotted spoon to remove the Fried Oreos, allowing excess oil to drain.
  8. Place them on paper towels to absorb additional oil, then dust with powdered sugar.
  9. Enjoy immediately while warm!
