Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (12g)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder (5g)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (1g)
- 1 cup whole milk (240ml)
- 1 large egg (50g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
- Vegetable oil for frying (enough to fill a deep pan)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Whisk in milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.
- Dip each Oreo into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Carefully lower the battered Oreos into the hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the Fried Oreos, allowing excess oil to drain.
- Place them on paper towels to absorb additional oil, then dust with powdered sugar.
- Enjoy immediately while warm!
