Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) large raw prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons (60ml) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Peel and devein the prawns, pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the sliced garlic to the hot oil and cook until golden and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the prawns, seasoning with red pepper flakes and salt.
  5. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until prawns are pink and opaque.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and garnish with lemon wedges.
