Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup milk, warmed
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for topping)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (for topping)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, salt, and sugar.
- Add melted butter and yeast mixture; combine until a dough forms.
- Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth; cover and let rise for 30 minutes or until doubled.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic, pepper, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce; cook for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in cheddar and Parmesan cheese; let it cool slightly.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut into squares of about 3 inches on each side.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each square.
- Fold the edges over and pinch to seal; place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix melted butter, garlic, and Parmesan for the topping.
- Brush the bombs with the garlic butter mixture immediately after baking; sprinkle with parsley if desired.
