Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) vegetable oil (or beef drippings)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place a tablespoon of oil (or drippings) into each cup of the muffin tin and put it in the oven while it preheats.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk until fully combined. Pour the egg mixture into the flour and whisk until smooth. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Carefully remove the hot muffin tin from the oven. Immediately pour the batter into the hot oil, filling each cup about halfway.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Allow the Yorkshire puddings to cool slightly before serving with your roast and gravy.
