Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.
- Cover and refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion out the dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
