Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
  • 1 cup (120g) non-fat powdered milk
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5g) vanilla powder

Instructions:

  1. Pass the cocoa powder, powdered sugar, and salt through a fine-mesh sieve into a medium mixing bowl to remove lumps and aerate the powder.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until the color is a uniform, pale chocolate brown. For an ultra-fine texture, pulse the mixture in a food processor for 30 seconds.
  3. Store the finished mix in an airtight glass storage jar.
  4. To prepare a drink, add 2 to 3 tablespoons of the homemade mix to 8 oz (240ml) of cold milk and stir vigorously or use a handheld frother.
