Ingredients:
- 2 cups (300g) frozen strawberries
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp (21g) honey or maple syrup
Instructions:
- Place the frozen berries, lemon juice, and sweetener into a high-speed blender. Process on high until the mixture is completely smooth. For a professional finish, press the puree through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any lingering seeds.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the puree into the center and use an offset spatula to spread it into a thin, even layer, approximately 1/8 inch (3mm) thick, keeping the edges slightly thicker than the center.
- Dry the puree using one of three methods: Oven at 170°F (75°C) for 4–6 hours, Dehydrator at 135°F (57°C) for 8–12 hours, or Air Fryer on 'Dehydrate' at 130°F (55°C) for 4–6 hours. The treat is done when the center is no longer tacky and the strip peels away from the paper.
