Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Instructions:
- In a large pot, pour in the vegetable oil and place over medium heat.
- Add 3-4 popcorn kernels to the pot; cover with the lid.
- Once the test kernels pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels and sugar.
- Cover the pot with the lid and gently shake it back and forth to mix.
- Continue shaking until popping slows down to about 2 seconds between pops.
- Once popping has stopped, remove the pot from heat and carefully transfer the kettle corn to a large bowl.
- Sprinkle with sea salt while the corn is still warm, and toss to coat evenly.
