Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, pour in the vegetable oil and place over medium heat.
  2. Add 3-4 popcorn kernels to the pot; cover with the lid.
  3. Once the test kernels pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels and sugar.
  4. Cover the pot with the lid and gently shake it back and forth to mix.
  5. Continue shaking until popping slows down to about 2 seconds between pops.
  6. Once popping has stopped, remove the pot from heat and carefully transfer the kettle corn to a large bowl.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt while the corn is still warm, and toss to coat evenly.
