Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, or oregano)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • Coarse sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried herbs.
  3. Add olive oil and water to the dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll the dough out to approximately 1/8-inch thickness.
  5. Cut the dough into squares or desired shapes with a pizza cutter or knife.
  6. Place the shaped crackers onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Prick the tops of the crackers with a fork for even baking.
  8. Brush lightly with olive oil; sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until crackers are golden brown and crisp.
  10. Allow to cool on a wire rack; serve with your favorite soup.
