Ingredients:

  • 1 (6-ounce) package flavored gelatin (170g)
  • 2 cups (16 fluid ounces) boiling water (475ml)
  • 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) cold water (240ml)
  • 1 cup (8 fluid ounces) vodka (80 proof or higher recommended) (240ml)
  • Optional: Whipped cream
  • Optional: Fresh fruit (berries, citrus slices)
  • Optional: Sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, pour the boiling water over the gelatin powder.
  2. Whisk vigorously until the gelatin is completely dissolved. There should be no undissolved granules.
  3. Stir in the cold water.
  4. Stir in the vodka (or other spirit).
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into shot glasses or plastic cups, filling them nearly to the top.
  6. Arrange the cups on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until completely set.
  7. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream, fresh fruit, or sprinkles, if desired.
