Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) Mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tablespoons (15-30ml) Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) Sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) Garlic powder
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon (15ml) Gochujang
  • Optional: Pinch of cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, Sriracha, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic powder (and Gochujang/cayenne, if using).
  2. Whisk all ingredients together until completely smooth and evenly combined.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more Sriracha for heat, soy sauce for saltiness, or rice vinegar for tang.
  4. For optimal flavour melding, cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Transfer the Spicy Mayo to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
