Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp (10ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp (5g) baking soda
  • ½ tsp (3g) salt
  • 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup (100g) salty pretzels, roughly chopped
  • ¾ cup (40g) potato chips, crushed
  • ¾ cup (130g) butterscotch or caramel chips

Instructions:

  1. Beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar on medium-high for about 2-3 minutes until pale and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until the mixture is velvety and cohesive.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients on low speed, mixing only until the last streaks of flour disappear.
  3. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in the chocolate chips, chopped pretzels, potato chips, and caramel chips, rotating the bowl to ensure even distribution without over-working the dough.
  4. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto parchment-lined sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
