  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound (450 g) carrots, peeled and cut into sticks or rounds
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine apple cider vinegar, olive oil, honey, smoked paprika, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks or rounds.
  4. Place the carrots in a food storage container or jar.
  5. Pour the marinade over the carrots, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  6. Seal the container or cover the jar tightly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for deeper flavor).
  8. Remove from refrigerator, stir the carrots gently, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve chilled or at room temperature.
