Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 4 boneless, skinless fish fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine paprika, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Mix until well blended.
- Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels and rub the spice mix generously on both sides of the fillets.
- Allow the seasoned fish to rest for 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and carefully place the fish fillets in the skillet.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
