Ingredients:
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (397g)
- 1 ½ cups ice water (355 ml)
- 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix (96g)
- 3 cups heavy cream (710 ml), cold
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
- 1 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafers (340g)
- 4-5 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and ice water until combined.
- Add the vanilla pudding mix and whisk until smooth and thickened (about 2 minutes).
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.
- Layer vanilla wafers in the bottom of your serving dish. Top with a layer of sliced bananas and a layer of pudding.
- Repeat the layers of wafers, bananas, and pudding until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows the wafers to soften and the flavors to meld.
