Ingredients:
- Large Eggs
- Water
- White Vinegar (optional)
- Salt (optional)
Instructions:
- Fill a bowl with ice and water. Set aside.
- Gently place the eggs in a single layer in the saucepan.
- Cover the eggs with cold water by at least 1 inch (2.5 cm). Add vinegar and salt (if using).
- Bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 6-15 minutes depending on desired doneness (6-7 for soft, 8-9 for medium, 10-12 for hard, 13-15 for very hard).
- Using a slotted spoon, immediately transfer the eggs to the ice bath.
- Let the eggs cool completely in the ice bath for at least 5 minutes. Gently tap and peel under cold running water.
