Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 10.75 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 ½ sleeves Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, pepper, and green onions. Mix well.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter. Toss to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the Ritz cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  7. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving the ritzy chicken casserole.
