Ingredients:

  • 1 package (6 oz or 170 g) Bell
  • s stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) unsalted chicken broth
  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) black pepper
  • 2 cups (240 g) cooked shredded chicken or turkey
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions, celery, and grated carrot; sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl
  4. Gently fold in the cooked shredded chicken or turkey into the stuffing mixture.
  5. Spread the stuffing mixture evenly in the greased baking dish. If using, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden and heated through.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
