Ingredients:
- 1 package (6 oz or 170 g) Bell
- s stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) unsalted chicken broth
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) black pepper
- 2 cups (240 g) cooked shredded chicken or turkey
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions, celery, and grated carrot; sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
- In a large bowl
- Gently fold in the cooked shredded chicken or turkey into the stuffing mixture.
- Spread the stuffing mixture evenly in the greased baking dish. If using, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden and heated through.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
