Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (240ml) water

Instructions:

  1. In the saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Once the sugar is dissolved, you can let the syrup simmer for about 1 minute.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the simple syrup cool completely. Transfer it to an airtight container or jar and store in the refrigerator.
