Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (240ml) water
Instructions:
- In the saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Once the sugar is dissolved, you can let the syrup simmer for about 1 minute.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the simple syrup cool completely. Transfer it to an airtight container or jar and store in the refrigerator.
