  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) dried thyme

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, and dried thyme.
  2. Use a whisk or fork to blend all ingredients thoroughly until the mixture is uniform in color and texture.
  3. Transfer the rub to an airtight container for up to 6 months. Make sure to label and date the container.
  4. Generously rub the spice mixture onto both sides of your ribs, ensuring an even coating.
