Ingredients:
- ½ cup (120ml) mayonnaise (full-fat recommended)
- 1-2 tablespoons (15-30ml) Sriracha hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) rice vinegar (unseasoned)
- ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) sesame oil (toasted)
- ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) soy sauce (low-sodium)
- ¼ teaspoon (a pinch) garlic powder
- Optional: 1 teaspoon (5ml) lemon or lime juice
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, sriracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, and garlic powder.
- Whisk all ingredients together until completely smooth and well combined. Ensure there are no streaks of sriracha.
- Taste the spicy mayo and adjust the level of sriracha or lemon/lime juice, according to your preferences.
- For optimal flavour melding, cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavours to marry and deepen.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
