- 4 oz (120ml) Tequila Blanco (100% Agave)
- 2 oz (60ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1.5 oz (45ml) orange liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 1.5 tbsp (22.5ml) agave nectar
- 1 cup (140g) ice cubes
- 2 tbsp coarse sea salt
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 lime wedge
Instructions:
- Combine coarse sea salt and lime zest on a small shallow plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of two chilled margarita glasses and dip the outer edges into the salt mixture at a 45-degree angle.
- Place strawberries, tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar into a high-speed blender. Add ice cubes if using fresh berries or for a frozen texture.
- Pulse three times to break down the fruit, then blend on high for 30 seconds until the mixture achieves a crimson, uniform consistency.
- Taste for sweetness balance, then pour immediately into the prepared glasses.
