Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together salt, black pepper, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Place chicken thighs in a large resealable bag. Pour marinade over the chicken, seal the bag, and gently massage to coat. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade, reserving marinade for later. Place chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet and sear for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip chicken and pour reserved marinade over the top. Transfer the skillet to the broiler and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove chicken from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired, then serve hot.
