Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) ketchup
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) onion powder

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Whisk everything together until the ingredients are well blended and a smooth glaze forms.
  3. If desired, heat the glaze in a saucepan over low heat until warm, stirring occasionally.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the prepared meatloaf before baking, reserving the rest for later.
  5. Bake the meatloaf until fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C), about 45 minutes. Halfway through, brush with the remaining glaze.
  6. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
